PRESS RELEASE – TAK has exceeded its expectations for tax revenues, collected EUR 11.7 million more than what was planned

The performance of tax revenues continues to increase in the Tax Administration of Kosovo, where only during the period January-March 2021 from regular revenues were collected EUR 134.7 million, which is an increase by EUR 16.2 million compared to the same period of last year. Whereas, EUR 11.7 million more revenues were collected, or 9.6% more than what was planned.

The increase in revenues comes as a result of dedication and professional work of the TAK staff, advancement of services to taxpayers, which have greatly facilitated the declaration and payment of taxes, and increased the level of voluntary compliance. An important role to this progress plays also the part related to tax legislation, through which continuous efforts are made to establish a good legal infrastructure.

TAK urges all taxpayers to continue to comply with their tax obligations, because this is the only way for our country to have a fiscal stability.
