The Director General of the Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK), Ilir Murtezaj, hosted a meeting with a World Bank (WB) mission aimed at discuss the possibilities for technical assistance to support reforms in the tax administration.
During the meeting, Murtezaj informed the World Bank representatives about recent developments in TAK and his plans for achieving the set objectives. In addition, Murtezaj communicated to them the needs for assistance in certain areas in favour of improving and modernizing work processes. Particular emphasis was placed on the better management of available resources and the development of an efficient organizational structure that will contribute to the fulfilment of TAK’s mission.
On the other hand, the representatives of the World Bank mission reiterated the WB’s full support to TAK underlining that such support will be maintained in the future.
The mission termed “Supporting the Implementation of the Tax Administration Reform Project” will last from 11March to 15 March 2019.
