The Tax Administration of Kosovo, hereby, notifies the taxpayers that it has issued a guideline that changes the procedures for the provision of the Tax Verification.
The purpose of this Guideline is to inform persons/taxpayers on the procedures to be followed in order to obtain the Tax Verification, on the responsibilities of Taxpayer Service and Education officers in the regional Directorates in order to issue the Tax Verification, and on the responsibilities of Information Technology officers within TAK in order to enable the generation of Tax Verification.
The equipment with Tax Verification can be done electronically and manually.
The non-business natural (individual) person can obtain a Tax Verification online through the TAK website or through the link https://evertetimi.atk-ks.org/ or at any of the nearest regional offices of the Taxpayer Service and Education. Whereas, the taxpayer (business) can be equipped with Tax Verification online through the Electronic EDI System or at the relevant regional office of Taxpayer Service and Education.
The Tax Verification for natural and business entities is issued by TAK only in cases when the taxpayer does not have any outstanding tax liabilities, and in cases when the taxpayer has outstanding liabilities, but has an agreement to pay the concerned debt in instalments.
Whereas, the Tax Verification for non-business natural persons (individuals) is issued by TAK only in cases when the person does not have any outstanding tax liability, and in cases when the person has outstanding liabilities but has an agreement to pay that debt in instalments, as well as in cases where TAK has no records on the person.
This Guideline enters into force on 01 November 2020 and the same repeals all the previous Guidelines that have governed this field.
The Guideline on the procedures of equipment with Tax Verification can be found at TAK’s website www.atk-ks.org in the link Publikime – Dokumente (Publication – Documents).
