Tax Administration of Kosovo, would hereby like to inform you that as of 01 March 2017, the claim for reimbursement of Valued Added Tax (VAT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), and Corporate Income Tax (CIT), shall be filed only through relevant tax declaration.
Upon submission of VAT, PIT or CIT Declaration, if the amount claimed for reimbursement is included/filled, the same shall be considered to have been submitted to TAK.
Therefore, when the taxpayer submits the tax declaration and fills the following columns, it shall be considered that the same has filed a Claim for Reimbursement before TAK:
- Column 70 in the VAT’s form
- Column 43 in the PIT’s form

Tax Administration of Kosovo has completed the cycle of taxpayers’ seminars in all regions of Kosovo.
These seminars have commenced on 31 January 2017 in the region of Gjilan, and continued further in the region of Gjakova, Peja, Prishtina, Prizren, Mitrovica and Ferizaj. It is worth mentioning that in the region of Prishtina was repeated today the seminar of the date 15 February, since there were many taxpayers who wanted to attend this seminar and for this reason TAK decided to hold once again this seminar. General Director of TAK, Sakip Imeri is staying on an official visit in Zagreb, Croatia, and today he met the deputy Minister of Finance, who is also the General Director of Tax Administration of Croatia, Mr. Zdravko Zrinušić.
At this meeting they discussed about the ongoing cooperation between the two tax administrations, as well as about the continuation of this cooperation by exchanging experiences which will result in capacity building in specific fields such as: digital platform of fiscalization and online monitoring system of games of chance, transfer of prices, handling of the bad debt reserve fund of banking institutions.
