Biography of the Director of the Department of Independent Functions, Mr. Nikson Mirdita
Nikson Mirdita is the Director of the Department of Independent Functions at the Tax Administration of Kosovo, with a long career and over 25 years of experience in tax administration and public management. He started his career from the position of tax inspector, team leader, and has advanced to strategic leadership roles.
During his career, he has held important functions at various levels of the tax system, combining practical experience in the field with leadership skills in the structures of the TAK Central Office.
One of his roles has been the effective management of field staff and the optimization of organizational processes, with the aim of increasing efficiency in tax collection and improving services to taxpayers. He has played an important role in strengthening the capacities of regional teams and in the implementation of tax reform policies.
Mr. Mirdita has been distinguished for his skills in strategic human resource management and in implementing institutional policies that increase the transparency and efficiency of the tax administration. He has contributed to strengthening cooperative relations with domestic and international partner institutions, as well as improving the institution's public communication with taxpayers and the media.
Mr. Mirdita has completed his university studies at the University of Prishtina - Faculty of Economics, majoring in Finance and Banking. He has extensive knowledge in the field of tax legislation, staff management and institutional reforms. He has attended a series of trainings in the field of taxation and public finance at home and abroad.
In his work, Nikson Mirdita is known for his professionalism, integrity and dedication to strengthening tax administration and serving citizens.
