For the fifth time (5) within this month, tax inspectors are threatened and physically assaulted while performing their official duties. The last case concerns the threat of two TAK inspectors from the Prizren region, who during their official duties were threatened by a taxpayer. The case in question was reported to the competent authorities.
TAK informs all taxpayers that the activities for which it has a legal obligation to conduct, TAK will continue to perform them strongly in a professional manner, without ever being influenced by anyone, regardless of behaviors and situations like the last ones.
As we have informed you from previous communications, TAK, in its activities, had to often ask assistance from the Kosovo Police, as in some cases we have encountered resistance from taxpayers to perform official duties. Therefore, in order to apply the law fairly and uniformly to all natural and legal persons, we invite the competent bodies to deal effectively with these cases.
