The General Director of the Tax Administration of Kosovo, Mentor Hyseni, received today at the premises of the Tax Administration of Kosovo, the Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, Petrit Ajeti, in a first official meeting between the two institutions.
This meeting marks the opening of a new chapter in institutional cooperation, with the aim of strengthening joint efforts to combat negative phenomena that harm the security and well-being of citizens. The cooperation between the TAK and the AKI is expected to go beyond the narrow objective of preventing tax evasion, extending to addressing other phenomena that endanger the economic and social integrity of the country.
Both leaders underlined the importance of continuous coordination, exchange of information and strengthening institutional capacities for the protection of the public interest. It was also emphasized that this cooperation will contribute to increasing transparency, citizen trust and building a fairer and safer system for all.
The Kosovo Tax Administration remains committed to advancing its mission in service of the rule of law and citizens through such strategic partnerships.
