The Kosovo Tax Administration informs all taxpayers who are in the refund procedure, as well as those who plan to apply for a refund, that the Treasury of the Republic of Kosovo has functionalized the digital service for the registration of beneficiaries, through the e-Kosova state platform.
In this regard, taxpayers are required to register as beneficiaries in the Kosovo Financial Management Information System (KFMIS), a service that is provided on the e-Kosova platform, under the Treasury icon.
This registration is mandatory for all taxpayers, including businesses, non-governmental organizations, natural persons, etc., who make payments through the Treasury of the Republic of Kosovo, including tax refund payments.
We inform you that the Treasury of the Republic of Kosovo no longer accepts manual supplier/beneficiary registrations. Consequently, all beneficiaries, without exception, must be registered and approved exclusively through the e-Kosova platform.
Taxpayers should consider the following:
- Registration as a beneficiary in the KFMIS must be completed personally, through the e-Kosova platform, using the service “Register as a beneficiary in the Kosovo Financial Management Information System (KFMIS)“;
- Manual registration is no longer possible and will not be processed by the Treasury of the Republic of Kosovo;
- The reimbursement payment cannot be executed, even in cases where the reimbursement is approved by TAK, if the beneficiary is not registered and approved in KFMIS through the e-Kosova platform;
- The bank account registered in KFMIS must be the same as the bank account declared with TAK. The decision to approve and execute the reimbursement payment is based on the consistency of these data.
- Failure to register or incorrect registration in KFMIS will cause delays in the execution of reimbursement payments.
The purpose of this announcement is to inform taxpayers in a timely manner and avoid obstacles or delays in making refund payments through the Treasury of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Kosovo Tax Administration invites all taxpayers to fulfill this obligation on time and with accurate data, so that the refund processes can proceed without obstacles.
