The Tax Administration of Kosovo reminds all persons engaged in business activities that, based on tax legislation, they are obliged to: register, keep documentation, declare and pay tax obligations correctly.
Based on the Strategic Plan 2022-2026 and the Risk Management Plan for 2023, TAK has drawn up the Action Plan to improve the tax compliance of taxable persons registered for VAT, including all factors influencing VAT crediting. Through this plan, TAK will carry out intensive activities in order to identify persons who do not correctly declare VAT crediting.
The Tax Administration of Kosovo urges all taxable persons to fulfill all tax obligations stipulated by the tax legislation, namely to:
- Declare and pay tax correctly;
- Keep the documentation according to the Law;
- Declare your supplies by correctly applying the VAT rate;
- Make the VAT deduction correctly according to the VAT Law;
- Apply the reverse charge for VAT, as required by law; etc.
The Tax Administration of Kosovo encourages all natural business persons and legal entities to respond correctly to their tax obligations, otherwise, the measures determined by the tax legislation will be taken.
By fulfilling your tax obligations, you contribute directly to the provision of public services, high-standard education, better health and social services, legal protection and security, and general infrastructure for sustainable economic and social well-being.
Pay the tax, strengthen the state!
