The Tax Administration of Kosovo informs the public of the results achieved thanks to citizens’ reports and the actions undertaken in the field, in the course of combating the informal economy and increasing tax discipline.
During the reporting period, a total of 924 reports were received, representing an increase of 67.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. These reports have served as a basis for undertaking inspection and verification activities. As a result of these actions, 269 fines have been imposed, with a total value of approximately 130,316 Euro.
TAK’s actions have also directly impacted the increase of financial transparency. As a result, approximately 396,127 Euro in turnover have been declared, as well as 29,254 Euro in Value Added Tax.
In the social aspect, the activities carried out have contributed to the formalization of the labour market, with 76 workers registered.
