The Tax Administration of Kosovo, in cooperation with GIZ – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, organized a workshop on the topic: Psychology of Tax Payment: Behavioural Incentives and Voluntary Compliance, with the participation of students from the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Psychology from the University “Hasan Prishtina”.
The General Director of TAK, Mentor Hyseni, in his speech emphasized the importance of cooperation with GIZ as a strategic partner, especially in the processes of early education and information on voluntary tax compliance. “Students have extraordinary potential to bring about a rapid revolution in the digitalization of procedures and to offer a new perspective on tax culture. This generation holds great promise in building a more conscious and responsible tax society,” Hyseni stated.
On the other hand, Vanessa Sabelski, a manager at GIZ, expressed that the support of the German state through this organization is a special pleasure, highly appreciating the long-standing cooperation with TAK. “It is encouraging to see the contribution we have made in strengthening an institution that is growing every day in performance and in providing more efficient services to citizens,” Sabelski emphasized.
In this workshop, students showed particular interest and asked questions about the tax compliance process, emphasizing their role as the next generation in spreading the culture of paying taxes.
The Tax Administration of Kosovo remains committed to advancing fiscal education in cooperation with international partners and academic institutions, building new bridges of cooperation for a sustainable tax culture based on voluntary compliance.
