The Tax Administration of Kosovo today organized the donor coordination meeting with representatives from international organizations and embassies.
In this meeting the topics discussed were the latest developments in TAK and the achievements made as a result of continuous support of donors. Also, challenges and future expected to be supported by donors were presented.
The Executive Director of TAK, Ilir Murtezaj, during the presentation for the donors, spoke with regard to the impact of each project and the reforms carried out with the recommendation and support of international partners. In addition, he added that TAK still needs to advance services and develop other processes, which would improve and facilitate even more the work towards taxpayers.
On the other hand, donors praised the work of TAK and the continuous increase in transparency were highly appreciated, as one of the institutions that is working hard in this segment.
Participants in this meeting were representatives from the International Monetary Fund, the European Union Office, the World Bank, USAID – Economic Governance Activity, GIZ, as well as the Embassy of Switzerland.
TAK expressed its gratitude for the support provided by international institutions, and in principle, they agreed on further support to the demands of our institution.
