The first two months of this year have started with a clear trend of growth in tax revenues, reflecting an increase in the level of fulfilment of tax obligations and the continuous improvement of fiscal administration processes.
During this period, 206.9 million euros in tax revenues were collected, which represents an increase of 22.6 million euros or 12.2% compared to the same period last year.
This increase reflects not only revenue performance, but also progress in strengthening tax administration and expanding the base of taxpayers who regularly fulfil their obligations.
The tax authority remains focused on further consolidating this positive trend through the advancement of work processes, greater use of technology in tax administration, more in-depth risk analysis, and intensification of activities against the informal economy.
Finally, the Tax Administration of Kosovo reminds all taxpayers that the deadline for submitting the Annual Income Tax Declaration is until 31 March. All taxpayers are encouraged to fulfil this legal obligation within the specified deadline, by using electronic services for an easier and more efficient declaration process.
