The Tax Administration of Kosovo informs the public that, based on the indictment filed by the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakova against two Tax Officers, charged with the criminal offenses of abuse of official position or authority and receiving bribe, it has undertaken the actions provided for under the applicable legislation.
In accordance with the legal provisions governing the employment relationship and the status of Tax Officers, TAK issued a decision on the temporary suspension from duty of these two officers, with immediate effect, until the conclusion of the judicial proceedings and the issuance of a final decision.
TAK does not tolerate any form of abuse of official duty or actions that undermine institutional integrity and will continue to strictly implement the legal provisions in every such case.
