There are 883.6 million euros in taxes collected by 30 November of this year. This amount of revenue is a strong indicator of the professional work of the Tax Administration staff, which undoubtedly guarantees the state financial and economic stability. The revenues collected for this period are no less than 90.7 million euros or 11.4% more than the same period last year.
The International Monetary Fund-IMF has recently assessed that TAK has an exceptional performance, according to which, TAK, in 7 out of 8 indicators, is higher than developing countries, and, in 5 out of 8 indicators, it is above the average of developed countries.
According to the IMF, the TAK has made significant progress in creating a functional tax system, in building institutional capacities and in strengthening strategic planning, compliance risk management and the basic functions of the Tax Administration. Revenue collection, both in value and as a percentage of GDP, shows a continuous growth trend.
Senior management will continue to work with dedication to make TAK a tax administration that is comparable to the leading tax administrations in Europe.
