The Tax Administration of Kosovo has recorded an extraordinary increase in revenue collection for the period January-October 2024, collecting 83.5 million Euros more compared to the same period last year. Total revenues for ten months have reached 821.3 million Euros in taxes. This increase represents a significant progress in the on-going efforts to improve revenue collection and increase efficiency in TAK.
Voluntary compliance with tax obligations continues to remain a top priority, ensuring that taxpayers pay the correct amount of tax obligations, while taking appropriate legal action against non-compliant taxpayers remains a priority, too.
The reforms undertaken in recent years, the provision of services to taxpayers, the increase in responsibility and accountability are some of the factors that have influenced the increase in revenues.
TAK calls on all taxpayers to fulfil their tax obligations, so that they do not become subject to fines and punishments provided by law. It also thanks all taxpayers who fulfil their tax obligations correctly and on time.
