Biography of the Deputy Director General of the Tax Administration of Kosovo, Mr. Isen Lipovica
Isen Lipovica was born on August 9, 1966 in Ferizaj. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pristina, majoring in "Enterprise Economics", while he completed his postgraduate studies at the "Gjilani" College, where he earned a Master's degree in Management.
He began his professional career in the private sector in a management position. Since December 2001, he has been part of the Kosovo Tax Administration, where he has held a number of positions with high managerial and professional responsibility, including: tax inspector, regional manager, director of the Department for Policies and Procedures, as well as director of the Regional Directorate in Prishtina.
During his career spanning over two decades at TAK, Mr. Lipovica has made significant contributions to the development of tax policies, improving operational efficiency and strengthening institutional transparency. He is certified as an accountant and auditor by the Association of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Kosovo, and has attended numerous trainings both domestically and abroad in cooperation with OECD, USAID, EU and IMF.
In September 2025, Mr. Isen Lipovica was appointed Deputy Director General of the Tax Administration of Kosovo, a position in which he continues to contribute to the strategic and operational direction of the institution.
