The Tax Administration of Kosovo reminds natural business persons and legal persons that they are obliged to withhold tax for the payments they make for: salaries and pensions, interest, property rights, rent, special categories and for payments of assigned to non-residents, as defined in the tax legislation.
TAK’s activities will continue to be focused precisely on the persons who are not fulfilling this legal obligation.
For natural business persons and legal persons, who do not withhold tax, administrative penalties will be applied, as determined by the tax legislation.
Therefore, TAK calls on all persons to withhold tax for the payments they make or to correct their declarations as soon as possible and to fulfil all tax obligations foreseen by the tax legislation.
By paying taxes, you contribute directly to the financing of government programs such as: the provision of public services, high-standard education, health and social welfare, legal protection and security, and general infrastructure for better economic and social well-being.
